Welcome to the oldest modern hotel in Bled. Like Mt. Triglav, Slovenia’s highest peak, this place is majestic and proud. And with good reason. 1906, the year of the hotel’s official opening coincided with Bled receiving its railway connection with Vienna and Archduke Franz Ferdinand visiting by train that same year. As a symbolic bonus to Hotel Triglav’s story is that Bled and its magical lake also received its well-deserved status as a tourist attraction that very year. Coincidence? Possibly. Does it remain the luxurious place as the time when the Archduke stayed there? Yes, and then some!

To say that Hotel Triglav & Restaurant 1906 is elegant would be an understatement. The entire premises of this four-star hotel are breathtakingly classy. The interior is tastefully furnished with antique furniture, the walls decorated with lovely artwork, and every space comes with an uplifting aura of positivity.
